Hello gals!

I thought I could tell you guys a little bit about our trip to Park City, Utah since it was so different from what we usually do for Christmas! I mean… it wasn’t really Christmas, but the whole city was still decorated with lights. It felt as if it was an extension of the Christmas dinner we already had back home. We wanted to do something as a family, something fun and exciting, especially for the kids! Who had never seen snow before, and I think that, for sure, was their favorite part of the trip, which was, quite honestly, only a small part of how magical it was! Everyone says that one can book a trip during any other season where the whole place is still as beautiful, and you’ll have the opportunity to experience the orange rocks everyone talks about! For us, there is something special about winter. Maybe it’s because I never experienced it as a kid, but I think that the world changes when it snows.  Everything is so beautiful, everything becomes quieter, and as if everyone is resting, getting ready for another year to come.

So we stayed at the Sunrise Lodge by Hilton Grand Vacations  in the Mountain side Village of Canyons Resort right next to the Sunrise Lyft.  This resort is part of the Park City Mountain Resort.  The view was all we needed! The sky lift is just few minutes walking distance and restaurants and shops are perfect around the area.  If you’re like my sister, you’ll want to stay as close as possible to the stores and restaurants (still with the beautiful views that Utah has to offer). It’s a cheaper option too! The hotel she stayed in is called Newpark Resort and the staff is above and beyond!

The view from our room was beautiful, looking at the mountains filled with snow was magical and looking at the Ski Hills was fantastic.  We do not ski, however; our kids wanted to learn and wanted to have the whole experience.  We put them in sky school and they loved it, it was amazing watching them learn so quick and loving every minute of it!!  We went up the sky lift to the last and highest of them all and it was beautiful.  We had so much fun watching the kids doing their Ski class and exploring the different stops the Lyft had to offer.

One of our favorite adventure was going to a place called Woodward Park because it’s a place filled with activities for all ages. If you want to relax while your kids play, they got it! Or, if you want to play with the kids, they got it too! If you want to help yourself with a delicious, warm plate while you watch the snow fall and the trees, then this is the perfect place for you! In our case, we got our blood pumping, and we did everything that we could along with the kids. We learned how to snowboard, the kids got to ski again and put their skills to practice.  My all-time favorite was the tubing! This is the PERFECT activity for the whole family! We really loved it and we spend so amazing time with the kids. What I loved the most, besides the fun activities was the fact that there’s a space for anyone to stay, grab a bite, and watch everyone jump around in trampolines or skate inside the building. In our case, when I was too tired to continue, I sat there and laughed while I saw my three kids jumping and joking around with my husband.

We ha a fantastic afternoon at Park City Downtown. It was a whole different experience to see local stores and their art.  WE had lunch, we had some dessert and hot chocolate on a very small like bakery and we all loved it specially the kids with the sweets and chocolate.

It was truly a fantastic trip, one that we will always remember and one the kids still talk about like if it was yesterday.  We enjoy traveling and seeing different places and this was really one of the top ones and one that we will do again!!

Love you all!

See you on my next blog,
