Hello everyone!

I wanted to take the opportunity to talk about how important skincare is! Not only for the general condition of it, but because of how it makes us feel after we take care of our skin. Yes, if we don’t take care, dead cells can get stuck in our skin and make it rough and uncomfortable. However, if we do take care of it, we will not only prevent this from happening, but it can shape the way we look forward to our days!

I am a true believer that if we take care of ourselves, we will be obviously healthier, but also happier and more confident!  Now, as a mom of three kids, you might wonder how I do it.  How do I keep a routine with the chaotic (and loving) life of being a mom? Well… It is possible! I like keeping things simple, and so, there is nothing fancy, super expensive, or anything that takes me a long time to do in my skincare routine. And a plus is that it’s calming, and I know it’s good for me! When I finish my routines, I immediately feel ready and excited for the day.

One thing that I want to point out before I show you around my routine is that I do not use any toners because they irritate my skin. And this is not to say that you shouldn’t use them! It irritates my type of skin, and it is important to understand that everyone is different! I always recommend visiting a dermatologist to find the best products for your skin type.

So let's quickly jump into it

In the morning, the first thing I use is my Cetaphil foaming face wash (redness prone skin name) I LOVE the foam and love how gentle it feels on my skin. Next, I use La Roche-posey Serum (Rosaliac AR Intense)that helps with redness because it’s something I particularly suffer from, it gives my skin a perfect glow and feels super hydrated.  Right after that, I apply cetaphile daily facial moisturizer (redness prone skin) which has a soft and perfect texture as well as spf 20.   Now I do use an SPF 30 or 50 on top of this so I can make sure my skin is well protected.  I use skin médica Total Defense + Repair SPF34 (tinted) Yes!! I LOVE the tinted one! I love the texture, I love how even my skin looks after I apply it and I love the fact I  Can sometimes just pair up with some blush and I’m ready to tackle my day!!  You can also find the regular one and It comes in SPF 50.

My night routine is almost the same as my morning routine, but here I start with the Garnier Skin Active (Micellar cleansing Water) makeup remover.  I then apply the same cleanser I used in the morning, and the Cetaphil redness relieving night moisturizer.  Something that I do occasionally do when I feel my skin needs a little extra help is using the Dr. gross Alpha Beta daily peel, which helps with redness and makes the skin glow up. I do this 3 or 4 times a week, and when I do, I don’t apply any moisturizer.  Will share more about this peel in a different post!!

I hope you enjoy reading my routine and if you ever try any of these products let me know how it goes

And see you on my next post
