Hello Everyone!!

I wanted to share this reRight after I tried this banana bread my friend gave me, I started doing it literally every single week! Literally is something we always have at home.  It has been a HIT with my kids. They absolutely love it, and I love it too; obviously. I mean… a yummy and a healthy treat? Are you kidding? I’m all for it! 

What I love about it, besides that is super delicious and super healthy, is that it takes almost no time! Don’t get me wrong, I love baking, and especially finding new healthy things that I can try for me and my kids. But is just convenient to have something so easy and quick to do.  It’s perfect for school! I pack it up for my kids all the time, and I do it in the form of regular size cupcakes and the small size cupcakes so I can call them “bites” so it’s a fun treat for them. 

If you try this recipe, I hope you enjoy it and even get to love it as much as we do in my family!  My youngest call it “healthy cake” haha and he loves it he can eat a lot in one sitting if I let him Lol!!

So here is the recipe

You will need

1 Cup old-fashioned rolled oats

1/2 Cup flour

1/2 Cup almond flour   

2 Eggs,

1 Teaspoon Baking Soda

1 1/2 Tbsp Baking Powder,

4 Ripe Bananas

1/2 Cup Raw Honey

1/4 Melted Coconut Oil

Chocolate Chips or Raisin

First, you’ll want to preheat the oven to 280 degrees. While the oven gets ready to bake. 

Start by adding the 4 Bananas in a bowl and using a fork, mash them until you get like a pure, then add the eggs and mix it all up using the same fork.  Add the coconut oil, honey baking power and baking soda.

After all that is well mixed you will add the oats, the flour and the almond flour to it.  You’ll want to pour the batter into a greased loaf pan or in the case of my kids, a muffin tin.  (Remember I use cupcake molds) but you can use whatever is best for you.  Once the mixture is in the mold add the chocolate chips to it or the raising whichever you prefer.  Put in the oven and leave for about 30-40 minutes depending on different ovens.
